Matt is an Independent Personal and Professional Development Consultant, specialising in Safeguarding Adults and Mental Capacity related practice.
He draws on a highly successful and varied career as a senior manager, educator and strategic leader in the NHS, underpinned by a solid academic education and his professional background as a Registered Nurse for people with Learning Disabilities (Retired).
Matt is a regular trainer, conference speaker, and currently serves as Independent Chair of the Regional Mental Capacity Act Forum for Local Authority and ICB leads.

As a Registered Nurse in both Mental Health and Learning Disabilities, Leanne brings a wealth of experience as a practitioner, therapist and operational manager. Her career spans learning disabilities supported accommodation and behavioural outreach as well as adult mental health and CAMHS, where she led the transformation of crisis services into a county-wide, 24-hour model. With particular interests in eating disorders and trauma, Leanne is also a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and supervisor, recognised for her strong multi-agency leadership and commitment to improving outcomes for young people as they transition into adulthood.

Jane is a Registered Social Worker with substantial experience across Local Authority, NHS, housing, and charitable sectors. She has a proven record in operational management, service transformation, and specialist safeguarding roles, providing professional leadership, staff supervision, and organisational assurance. With particular interests in substance misuse, domestic abuse and trauma-informed approaches, Jane brings depth of expertise to complex safeguarding issues. She is also an experienced trainer and facilitator, regularly delivering multi-agency workshops for the local Safeguarding Adults Board to promote best practice and effective partnership working.

Dr Seemab Khan is a practising General Practitioner and GP Trainer with 15 years’ experience as a Named Doctor within the ICB, providing Safeguarding Adults leadership and supervision in primary care across the local health and care system.
She is committed to personalised, trauma-informed practice and has extensive experience in Domestic Homicide Reviews and Safeguarding Adults Reviews, combining clinical expertise, leadership and systems learning to produce clear, robust and compassionate reports with practical, evidence-based recommendations. Seemab supports agencies and safeguarding boards to strengthen practice, promote accountability and drive lasting improvements in safeguarding outcomes.
